Hyaluronic acid is in the area of wrinkles injected, it binds water in the tissues and leads to a volume increase of the skin.
For several years, hyaluronic acid is successful in the wrinkle treatment, due to the strong water retention properties. Hyaluronic acid occurs in all mammals and bacteria. The preparations in practice usually stem from rooster combs or biotechnologically from Streptococcus (bacteria) (17). The acid is not antigen, which means there is no risk of allergy.
