Once you through 3 major knee surgery before the age of 33, I have learned a few things about pain in the line bay. My first started in 1995 with some serious injuries to my left knee damage to the ligaments and tendons around the knee and meniscal layers in the joint itself. Something simple arthroscopy could not resolve, let me with a nice 8-10 inch scar in the middle of my knee. My left knee bothers me but not as strong as my right knee. I injured it in 2001. Chronic Pain
Chronic pain is a pathological assert its independence of nerve impulses. From a “assert its independence” is when the pain remains – even after the cause of pain is resolved.
An example: A nerve cell sends a serious injury after a very long pain impulses to the brain. This is changing their metabolism. If the injury finally healed, so no appeal is available, the cell can no longer continue off and sends pain impulses: The cell has developed a pain memory.
Besides lengthy illnesses may include environmental factors such as stress or weather changes trigger chronic pain or strengthen.
